We would have stopped for a natter.... at a distance, of course :)
No, I think you'd just got the mower out and were instructing your Gardener how to do a better job ;-)
The “mower” was in fact a scarifier which we have hired for the day to remove 20 years worth of thatch from the top lawn. It has been a BIG day.... we have removed in the region of 16 cubic metres of moss and thatch. Now gin time!!
OMG. No wonder you looked so serious!
BTW I possess and Einhell scarifyer (2240P) - the most expensive garden equipment I've ever bought..... if you'd like to try it next time....
You just never believe how much they bring up until you do it. Nightmare! :-)
Think I'll avoid a scarifier - there wouldn't be much green left on most of our "lawn".
Jase, I don't suppose you have a wheely machine that can lay grass seed in an even pattern, perchance? I am slowly raking our "garden" - which sounds like Jon's, alas! - and need to get the seed and feed&weed out in a nice even distribution. That's to say, unlike the front lawn (sigh)
I've got one :-)
Not going to use it as we've got hens and the grass seed would just be very expensive food to them...
Yes I have Brad, if you don't see my by 10am drop me an email/text.
