From the fifth control on, you really crushed it. I was counting on you making more than a minute or two of mistakes :-)
But, I'm happy to say, thanks to your early time losses, I am still the undisputed champ of the brown course. My brown leg splits added up to 38:50, yours to 40:28.
So now you're failing basic math as well as logic?
My math is impeccable, and so is my logic. Although in this case it involves the logic of counterfactuals. What you don't seem to get is that sometimes how things would have been counts for more than how things are.
Clever, well done. Phil, you’re incorrigible. Both, what you have cooking is wonderful. I am really looking forward to this. My only reservation is that this might have pretty wide (geographic) appeal and perhaps might best be done when restrictions have eased up a bit.
It might remain in place for a while. Or could appear again later without much trouble, if there's demand. Or could even become more permanent.
By the way, Phil, I thought that course was very nice.
The interplay of various realities in this thread, heck - throughout the logs of cleversky/jjcote, PG and PBricker, among others - is a great way to spend a few minutes every day. The tongue-in-cheek responses, innuendos, statements of facts (real and imagined), challenges, etc. are priceless.
My thanks to all of you, both for being who you are, and also in sharing it with the rest of the world who cares to look for it.
