Planning on some long runs in the mountains once we are allowed out. Its always more fun if you are fit for it.

Ghost Road, Wangapeka and Heaphy are on the list.

Open to other suggestions for good long runs.

Link those three together?

Leslie-Karamea-Wangapeka (start at Flora saddle, finish at Tapawera end) is a good one.

Yes had eyed that up as a more exciting challenge than the Wangapeka. Midwinter should be delightful in the valleys. Also thinking another attempt at the Mt Richmond challenge is in order.

St Arnaud to Lewis Pass or Boyle over the Waiau Pass
Tapuae-o-uenuku in a day, Marty has done that
Greig and I looked at a circumnavigation of Lake Rotoiti via the tops, up Parachute Rocks along the ridge, down at about Peanter or point 1692, then up onto Roberts Ridge somewhere, up Angelus Ridge is possible.
Greig didn't get a leave pass though.

My Flora saddle loop is nice, over Mt Arthur then a few more places before looping back to the start.

For a short trip possibly next time I'm up is Mt Campbell then along to Flora Saddle and a road run to make a loop.

A daytrip loop including Centre Mountain!

Georgia:
Daytrip including Centre Mountain seems somewhat unreasonable. Anatoki - waingaoro looks good. My main criteria is for tracks/loops that I couldn't be bothered spending multiple days tramping.
