Have you heard about the app iNaturalist? I've been using it for the past week or so and it's been very helpful in narrowing down IDs.
And are the other two green and prairie?
Correct on all. Flower courtesy of Clint, and that's what Gail thought too; I'd never noticed it before. I was delighted to see my first Green Heron of the year, once of my favorite critters. And the Prairie Warbler was singing as I drove by, so I figured I ought to stop and find him, and there he was. :-)
Also, for the record, heard an American Toad singing, but no visual.
Marsh marigold is pretty common here in the wet areas, and we always look for it in the spring.
