Can I get a look at the map? Sounds like it could be a good excursion once we start heading a bit further afield.
It's an A3 map so when I'm back in the office (maybe a week or two) I can scan it for you.
Didn't they have a rogaine there on a Lidar map last year, or was that another spot on that road.
It must have been very thick before the fires. Jock reckons Dragonbacks only has a year or so before it thickens up too much.
Sounds like a great place. We need better map names, like in the olden days.
@brooner would be a good one as part of some great north road bike-packing...
Is that the 1989 Aus Champs map, or something different? (I've never competed on that one - was overseas in 1989 - but did go for a training run on it once).
Yes, we were running part of Jock's M21E course (course 8!)
Dragonbacks = Dragonbones?
I won W14 there :)
Thank you Jenny... for the correction. i was driving me crazy.
Sprint Andy ! sprint !

1989 M21E 12 Simpson Andy BFN 103.12
Warren must have been having a bad day :-)
Warren had a few years of not doing much in the late 80s/early 90s - when I first started to run elite races fairly regularly in 1990-91 I'd expect to beat him more often than not - but then he got serious again in 1992.
