Did you know that you can load Garmin tracks to Attackpoint*. Then you can see where you went and how fast you were going at the time (smoothed to at least 10 seconds).
I looked at some of my recent runs and the best was 4:37 per km (over 10 seconds). So 3:06 is truly moving.
*it requires a donation of $US25 per year. If you donate you can see your own Garmin traces, and everyone else's as well. You also lose all the ads; sessions come in as mixed intensity; you can make training plans and see progress; and write private notes to yourself about each session
Or you can hunt him down on Strava
I’ve been tempted by Strava but reckon it’s too time consuming for not a lot of benefit since AP does pretty much everything I want.
Yes I can't be bothered to fill in details but it is also an Autoload from GPS -> Phone -> Garmin -> AP & Strava
Sometimes fun to see how fast or slow others are on "Segments"
My garmin watch auto loads to garmin connect then to strava (my son set it up somehow). I gave Richard the ok to be one of my many starva followers the other day.
I am watching you, BB (Big Brother)
When you start getting into and racing segments, then you too can become a Stravhole!
