Congratulations! I was laughing looking at your specs. This is the SUP I bought but haven't used yet. I plan to do yoga on it in addition to paddling so "fast" wasn't one of my criteria - obviously, lol. It was on the rack at a good end-of-season price last year so I didn't do any research - just a short test paddle to make sure it felt OK. If I ever want to go fast, I'll need to talk with you about our quiver.

Nice looking boat Bash. We don't see many bluwave boats out there. I looked up if they have any BC dealers though and was surprised to find out that a local outdoor shop is on their dealer list. Your boat seems to have some features which make it conducive to covering some distance (like the nose shape). As with any boat narrower and longer are the main ingredients for going faster but these affect stability and agility...

Not to mention the ability to hold triangle pose if a wave hits! :) I definitely won't be challenging you to any races but I look forward to getting out. (Anywhere. Seriously. Walking to the mailbox is one of the highlights of my day.)
