training is best done consistently but also with variation to allow for over-stressing and then recovery.
A 3 week cycle of medium, hard, easy might be better than 3 hard in a row. Of course you need to be flexible in exactly what happens, but some pre-planning is useful.
Yeah that sounds like a good model to follow. My hard weeks don’t feel hard cos of the insane amount of resting going on right now. Just trying to not get injured. Planning on bringing in some intensity next week but staying at around 75k weeks
hard weeks could just have a higher intensity for a couple of sessions - don't need to be longer distance.
