Discussion: Soapstone 2007

Peter, a discussion ensued about the Soapstone Assault and fastest historical times (we have no records of early years). My log indicates you and Phil came down. I ran 56 and a half. Curious if you have any record or recollection of what your time may have been...

Here's the write-up on my log. I was 57:49. Peter was 54:06 and easily won the handicapped race. Here's his write-up.

Yeah, as soon as I posted the question I realized I could just go back and read his log... Doh!! Fastest course time is 45:07 posted by Rich Fargo back in 2000 - when it was still a fall race...

I thought it was a great idea for a race – other than the time of year.

This year its a virtual edition - July 25-Aug 2 - run at your preferred date/time. Also this year a Soapstone Six - how many assaults can you run in a 6-hour window - total summits... must run the course in order - no choosing your favorite climb.
