Ideally, I would have tackled this in early June, but I just wasn't on top of my life at that point. It was definitely too hot for me out there. The climbs were way too hot for me and I got really overheated, then I'd get to the top and a perfect breeze would hit me. I'm curious if I had run it the opposite way if I would have been a little better off.
The fall would have been ideal, but I started panicking that a gunner would come along and destroy the FKT to the point where I wouldn't stand a chance.
Glen, I haven't been able to think about Thai Chili Tuna since Sea2Sea, but thanks for renewing my nausea! At least you're good for a discount on Topos - they were perfect for this effort.
