As in, 10,000? Or some other daily goal?
I feel like you should be able to bank some steps from ultralong runs.
Yeah, we’ve been trying to get 10,000 steps every day. I think we are up to a month? It’s kind of silly because biking counts for nothing, but it has gotten us outside more.
I wish my watch banked steps! I got >2 weeks worth of steps in one day :)
I've been frustrated about biking not being steps and wondered if attaching my watch to my leg would work/allow me to cheat.
OTOH, yesterday I did not leave the house at all and at some point noticed I had >4000 steps. My current hypothesis is that guitar strumming counted as steps. More research needed, there.
All that is to say that it's an imperfect metric but still appealing.
