Discussion: Pheasants

When we moved here in ‘94 I often saw a pheasant down Barbourtown Rd. It might have always been the same one. Maybe the last I saw of him was in ‘95 or ‘96. Haven’t seen another one since.

I've only seen one in the past five years or so, and it was at Middle Creek (the place that gets multiple thousands of migrating snow geese) in PA, where there are extensive wide open fields, which seem to becoming much less frequent.

Those two biggest chicks are massive!
