Discussion: Nice...

had a 5' red rat snake as a kid. Had ordered a 6' snake; seller added a 3' temperamental black snake. The former was docile as can be.

This guy was quite feisty. Seemed to easily lift up its foremost 2 feet -- yeah, I know, it doesn't have feet -- and have a look around. Or, I was thinking, to get ready to attack.

My recollection from when we had a "house" rat snake is that it was supposed to be a good climber, aggressive, and prone to bite (though not poisonous).

Wish I'd had my good camera. At least I got enough of it to show the white belly.
