There is/was an orienteering map of that area. Not a full-fledged one, but a ski-O map. It was supposed to have been used for the US Ski-O Champs many years ago, but when the time came for the event, the flood-control capabilities of the area had been activated, and the whole map was under water, so it was canceled. And as far as I know, the map never got used. I did ski there once with the Bermans and Swampfox, the only time I've ever skied with any of those folks that I cam recall.
Oh nice. I was wondering what the skiing would be like there. Also, of course, wondered whether the woods would be widely runnable in spring/fall, especially since the area reminded me of all those managed forests in continental Europe where we'd drive to some random pull out for a WOC training.
Steve Dentino used to live very close by until he and Anne moved to Maine, and he skied there tons.
