Tripod, I assume?

I need to dust off my Canon DSLR. It’s so tempting to use my phone or smaller camera that I sometimes forget the difference it makes.

Yes a tripod for sure, I used a 30s shutter speed, with a low aperture and relatively high ISO. I also used quite a large amount of mosquitoes to keep the process exciting.

Emma used a tiny (20 cm) tripod. It was so small that the lens tipped the tripod over. To look through the viewfinder, she had to bend over with her head almost on the ground.

The reason for the mini tripod was so that more wine could be packed into the canoe given our self-imposed food and eqpt weight restriction

wine >> photo quality

An excess of wine was mandated by the food/drink committee. (or wo-mandated)

I'm packing for a Killarney canoe trip as we speak. I completely understand the restrictions so there will be no room for tripods on our trip. :)
