Saw your post to the running queen. She never said a bad word about okie land. Cushing is probably ok or nice small town but just getting out in any small town you don’t live in can be stressful finding routes and wondering about dogs jerks etc. Even in okie land 35 plus years ago runners were popping up in races that were from small rural towns.

She went right back to super training.

Hardcore Grandpa Lefty Molly P. There’s a Frozen Fries that seems to know some or all of you American Finlanders. There are others who log tags that are skipping my nearly 65 year old brain.

The Bean-Lady has gone wild now that she's home. Wow.

I"m not much on bike stuff. I did it off and on over the years and finally decided that I'd retire my yellow jersey. In Altus I bought an 10 speed Puch in 1983 and rode it 12 miles...6 to work and 6 home and right after that I ran some good races in 84-86. But here I would just do a couple of miles and mostly what I felt was sore knees. But doing those long bike rides, if you set bike gear 'ratio'? right I bet you can supplement in a good way.

There is a whole crew of hard trainers up there. Since I do not have a running mate it helps to see what others are doing. Sometimes I get psyched out rather than up and I'll not look at the diaries for awhile.
