You write beautifully. It is smooth and enjoyable writing, and just generally hard not to smile throughout the whole read as you know it is the gracious Ali Masson on the other end.
Great work, look forward to your next adventures, and hope the hammy recovers swiftly.
A great write up of a true epic. Hope you recover quickly.
A bit of history : 30+ years ago a guy called Jim Doig spent a lot of time working out a similar route too yours - he too decided the Cairngorms were the place to get the most Munros - longer distance but less extreme climb than out west. Sadly he died of meningitis in 1992 at the age of 34 and so never got the chance to test out his plans.
Glad you enjoyed Colm and hope you're not too frustrated with yesterdays efforts.
Jon - that is a sad bit of history. I did think it was surprising that no-one had attempted the record in the Cairngorms before Jim Mann, at least now Jim Doig has been proved right.
