Check and see if it has an attackpoint log; maybe it also recorded encountering some obnoxious guy disturbing its training.

Since I've encountered him on a trail and a road, the snek is likely an adventure racer. I don't associate with that seedy side of AP.

Well, to be fair I was driving on the road. And I was only on the trail for a short time.
