A series of loops that starts and finishes at home, designed to avoid roads as much as possible and to take advantage of the scraps of mining wasteland dotted across north west Bendigo. This run was the shortest (and I did divert at the end) at 6.7 k. There are variants out to 17k. The longer the loop, the lesser proportion of bitumen. The longest goes the full extent of the Royal George Co. map. I think the short loop today works out at 20% bitumen. Below is one of the mid range examples. I am building up to this distance (hopefully). Its a nice run for a start in inner bendigo. Dirt single tracks and lots of mining features.
Thanks. Looks an interesting route.
When you are up for ten ks you can join us, if I am up for ten ks. Injury log is taking a pounding at the moment.
