I grew up about 5km from there - wonderful bermed trails!!! Used to do a lot of winter rides up there too. Sweet!

It was awesome! I’ve never ridden big steep and twisty bermed trails so that was a little scary. Something to work up to!

Is that the Cdn O Champs terrain for 2022?

Would make an incredible MTB orienteering race area

Nev- they’re very variable. The pine forest can be nice and manicured but some areas with low branches. The deciduous forests can be SUPER open or a bit of low brush but still pretty good! Would be stellar relay area with so many trails.

Well luckily as don't ever need a good relay map ever in Ontario!

Hammer: I googled Dagmar Orienteering and it was Klepper's thread with the old maps and your comments were how great it would be for MTB! I have zero memories of running around there.

I'm still on Team West of GTA than East of GTA for big events, but am biased (and have zero insight).
As of Sept 2020 I can justify having an opinion.

I did my MSc research in those woods. The terrain is great but maybe poison ivy? dunno

I’d vote for Arkell, Starkey and Guelph U for Canadians though too. But yeh biased.

moving to Toronto or the Hammer?
