Green and red had the same #1, no? I found that area weird and it took me a while to find the streamer, and I have no color vision excuses. Maybe there are freckles in the skin of space-time there.

It did seem weird, but I was having trouble seeing the map so it's hard to be sure.

I saw the streamer right away, which I attribute to luck. The area was vague and the streamer was amidst lots of vegetation, making it a bingo control. Some of the later ones weren't much better. I also had a lot of trouble reading the contours in the dim, unable to see the downhill tags at all.

Me too, yesterday (Monday). Trouble reading contours; this map certainly can't be a case of drawn to 1:15000 spec and enlarged to 1:10000 (or at least I hope not, otherwise, my vision has deteriorated badly). And trouble seeing streamers (like you, never found #11 and #14 but was, eventually, confident in my location).

The map was properly drawn to spec, 1:10000 with the 150% size symbols (or maybe 1:15000 with the smaller symbols but then printed at 150% scaling, same result). One major problem is that it was originally offset printed, and the colors only needed to look good on the computer screen. The brown is too pale. This was a problem at the Billygoat that I set there, but I didn't realize it until I picked the maps up at the printer the day before the event. I should have done a test print. And I should have done something about getting the club's master copy fixed. And I still should.

It's mainly when the contours are over green on the map that I have trouble seeing them, and there's a lot of that on this map.
