I’m not sure that anything could be worse than the pain I went through getting up that climb..... unless, of course, one came off on the descent ;)

It is indeed brutal - John Mckendrick (of STAG) describes it as a "killer climb" in his excellent book of Hillclimbs on Scottish Highland Roads: https://www.edinburghbicycle.com/pocket-mountains-...
Descending it at speed would be pretty scary!

I remember pushing my bike up there about 30 years ago when Jen and I were out cycle camping - almost a killer!
If you like hard climbs have you tried the one from Trinafour to Dalnacardoch? I'll come down and meet you if you fancy a riding it.

Haven't gone from Trinafour to Dalnacardoch, but did ride into Trinafour from the South a couple of weeks ago.
Would be good to meet up for a ride sometime!
