I thought about trying to get other people to do it. Logistics are more difficult now, so I decided to do it on my own. But I'm always game to meet up to bike (or run when I can run... knee surgery in a couple weeks, ski too).
good luck!...hopefully the surgery will allow you to run a bit more if that is your desire........I now run 1 maybe 2 times a week for 2 to 3 miles with my sub par knee replacement.(85% on trails or rubber track) ......surprisingly its enough....I still get to be/feel like a runner.........I just signed up me and Sydney for the Loppet trail 5k.......my first running race since the MDRA 4 mile that we did together........I hope to get in under 40 minutes on the trail 5K and hopefully even better.....actually mt biking for most of my training and running 1 day a week seems to work ok.....so its age, adapt, continue......
Thanks. If I can only do occasional 5k's going forward I'll live with that. My stretch goal is to finish ahead of Kari in one more trail half marathon :-)
