Discussion: Georeferencing

There's a very nice georeferencing step in the Livelox setup, and once an event is in Livelox it is available automatically in UsynligO. Could save some effort that way.

Ooh -- good to know! I'm semi-familiar with that process b/c I tried (unsuccessfully) to do it on my phone & Kindle a few weeks ago when I was sans laptop.

I was hoping to put Neal's Blue Mountain & Lake George courses in UsynligO, but those maps aren't georeferenced, either (and no one has volunteered to do it for me...). I think your suggestion will be a great approach -- and I won't have to redraw the courses. YAY!

So I did all the georeferencing stuff in Livelox but can't see it in UsynligO (showing Livelox events doesn't seem to be an option on the website, and the app seems to force a 50 km search radius). Argh! Foiled again...

Ah -- I can scroll around on the Google map instead of using the search dialog (in the app). But still not seeing my Livelox event. Argh again!

Did you set the start date of the event to something in the future? I think you can only see 'past' events on UsynligO, as if you were using it to rerun a course.

It's set to today, 9am to noon. Maybe it's a time zone issue -- I'll set it to yesterday.
