Is that the section that parallels I-55 for most of its length? Just to clarify, I haven't been there, just wondering how that stacks up to the rest of the trail. Remember when we used to ride out to CSP? I remember most of our route, but cant remember what we did when we got there? Orienteering practice? I guess I could look it up on my log...it'll be great for reminiscing in my old age, I guess:)

Yes, right along 55. Not sure it is open all the way to JB. Trail was closed at Carondelet this morning. Funny you should mention that. I was just thinking about those rides recently. I think we just rode the trails.

New Grant's Trail extension dead-ends at River de Peres; construction on bridge has resumed. The bike trail from Carondelet Park "sort of" makes it to JB. From Broadway to casino, you must still take road and then hop curb and cross 30 feet if grass -- it's been at least a 2 year wait for parallel bike trail to be completed. Also, a while ago, I had go around construction at Broadway and River de Peres drive.

I went up Broadway last weekend. Sad how desolate that neighborhood between Carondelet and Bates has become.
