I agree. I find that purple very hard to see. It took me ages to find the start triangle and my no.1. Wish we could have pink, and thicker lines!
The other place I found a problem with seeing the mapped features was the little track that goes through garden bed going 127-126. I knew it was there from past events but it was very hard to see with a north line over the top of it. Probably actually needs a gap in the OOB green rather than just the track symbol as well to make it clear.

Took me ages to find the start triangle too. According to our mapping convenor, this is the purple that is best suited to colour blind competitors but seems it's now an issue for the other 95%.

I didn't see the track on the map until looking at it afterwards - I believe ISSprOM addresses the issue of a white border but this map is still under the old standard - and it was a definite route choice from our 5-6 (though the purple line from 3-4 obscured the legal route to the north of that track anyway) and would have resulted in finding the misplaced control without issue but then I think everyone in M21 approached from the same direction and seems the only one who didn't lose time there was Liam.
