Yea I've been keeping a pretty close eye on the news lately. Where I'm living should be fine but where I work is right on the river bank. If we get the expected 8m flood level on Tuesday things could get very interesting. The Fitzroy already looks very full.

Sounds like there's some good material out there on the ABC and Rockhampton council sites about which areas might flood, although nothing as good as the program I saw at the conference I'm at where you can input a river height and it shows which areas go under and for how long. (As you can imagine, they take floods pretty seriously in New Orleans these days).
