Discussion: 50th Anniversary

Thought of this two weeks ago but forgot to mention it: We met for the first time fifty years ago this month. As you no doubt recall, you showed up in Isla Vista asleep in the car (Ramsay was driving) after running to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up the previous day.

I think that, besides my brother, you are the oldest friend with whom I am still regularly in touch. You are very, very old - just kidding! You're like a spring chicken. In any case, it's been great having you as a close friend these five decades. Here's to the next 5!

Yes, I am remembering that life changing day. It seems much less than 50 years. I will write about it some more soon after I rest from this trip. It has been great to have you as a lifelong friend. Amazing we have lived so close together for all these years.

Rhonda’s friend Peggy’s mom was Rhonda’s mom’s best friend. Rhonda and Peggy have been friends since birth. Still are.
