I might come and visit if we ever go back to the office - I'm starting a secondment soon that would be based in Heidelberg. It's only until mid Jan though, so I'm doubtful I'll ever actually go there! Glad you're liking the new 'hood!

That's probably the closest spot for hills off-road (there are plenty of on-road options, not least Hawdon Street from Burgundy to Darebin, the last 300 metres for many of my runs). Another one, although a little harder to get to, is the pipeline track which runs NW-SE across the west end of Bulleen.

Yes Hawdon St was my original plan (more comparable to my hill in Hawthorn) but the Plenty River Trail one is way nicer!
