Discussion: Reminds me

Of a time I was riding a beater ten speed for full time transportation. On main west, right in front of the university, and in the midst of a left turn in tons of traffic the seat fell off the post, bounced off the back tire and rolled out into traffic. I was left to find a place to stop without getting into further difficulty with the seatpost so I could retrieve my seat and fix it later. I also put that in my back pocket.

Later I was talking with a friend who was actually in a car behind me and saw the whole thing and was laughing...’so, did you get that seat put back on?’

I did.
