Discussion: Which pool?

I guess your options are limited with only outdoor pools open, although I was never a huge fan of the Ivanhoe indoor pool in any case. Northcote seems to be functioning pretty well, Fitzroy is good but seems near-impossible to get a booking for at present.

Balwyn, which was about 150m out of my 5km radius. Northcote was in my radius I think but I have found it impossible to get a booking since they opened again - I would log on at 8, find an available spot, and by the time I entered my card details it would be gone (why on earth isn't it like any other ticketing program where it holds the booking for a set period I don't know).

I've made it on for Northcote each time, but getting online right at 8.00. The first time I needed three attempts to get an available timeslot but since then I've got the one I wanted (best to avoid the 7am and 8am ones if you can). Hopefully easier now that they've opened the kids' pool so there are 50 spots available each hour instead of 20.

You must be a faster typist than I! I was going for 6 or 7 so maybe they're just too popular (but also by the time I put my card details in only 1.30pm was left). Yes it seems much easier everywhere now there are more spots.
