The change in exit gate off the fields shouldn't add to the distance by about 10m... otherwise nothing has changed? Maybe the GPS cutting a corner of 2 short by 5-10m each time?

Yeah, you are actually right, my watch does under-read distance a bit, the change in exit didn't change by much. This distance was 7.88km, last time was 7.95km.
