Was that the small bare rock area on the side of a spur? A kite there had been knocked into the cleft between two rocks.

I was out last and found that ok. Left James after 4 to do a few on my own and promptly went wrong.

I don't remember Barambogie being particularly runnable even at Aust Champs 2003. But the half hour I lost looking for a rock on a rocky hillside near the end was entirely my own fault.
