Probably less exhausting for us than for actual Americans, as a lot of the action seems to happen in the middle of the night their time (British elections are the same).

Apparently for those who don't want to risk missing the big moment, in the US if you text 'FIRED' to a certain number it will send you an alert when the election is called.

Hey now, DecisionDesk made the call at 8:50am Boston time! Of course it's not official and there will certainly be some shenanigans over the next month+, but it seems fairly certain that we will have a Madam Vice President in January!

I saw there were a bunch of people that booked medical procedures for the election day, purportedly so they would be unaware of the election results due to being under anaesthetic or on a lot of drugs for the procedure and generally unaware of what's going on. Lots of wisdom tooth extractions etc.
