acjospe: So, one way to make skis last a little longer is mark one side of the ski as the "training" edge and one as the "racing" edge. That way, when you're doing ski-o, or just training, or in shitty conditions, put your training edges to the inside, where they'll get beat up more. That saves your "racing" edges for the days when you need them, like on race days. My training edges on my "good" rock skis are pretty much round, but I can still race on the good edges. For some reason the word edge just started to look really funny to me, so i'll shut up now.

biggins: The problem is that I'm not really discriminatory on which edges I destroy. Inside, outside, straight down the middle - its all fair game.
