Are you able to drink coffee at all?

I have some occasionally.
Should never before running though. I got Julie down to half-caf now and so I sneak a cup once in a while.
I used to drink 1-2 pots a day.

I've never drank much...2 cups. I make it first thing and drink about half before I run and the rest I take a slug here and here after I run...I like my first cup hot but I actually don't mind drinking it after it's cooled off by post run. I make it strong and put in a stevia/sugar blend to sweeten it. I used Coffee mate for awhile but it really didn't seem to be worth the money so back to milk. (No pancake syrup like I did up in Duluth when I first started drinking coffee...I guess 1980?).

Sorry you've had to cut back so much on the coffee. I've kinda done the sme thing with Coke/DrPepper. Most weeks drink less than a 4 pack of regular sugar , no high fructose stuff. Usually miss at least 1 day and sometimes 2 per week with no coke and I don't go into convulsions or break out into sweats!

Between running injuries, health issues and falling down, bruising toes while doing chores, etc...not just me anymore. Like I noted there were several including Beangirl with aches and pains...most were short term or just concerns over a tweak here or there that might go away or develop into something more.

Knee is sore from falling but feels way better than I expected...lots of ice and Dr. Google treatment going on now.

Had a couple of beers with Jay yesterday. It's been a long time.
Got to talk about the good old days of running, etc.
He's spending his retirement days playing guitar, and has two grandsons that they visit often in the Twin CIties.
His knee is fucked though... can barely finish a 1/2 hour walk. I hope he gets it fixed.

Thx for the update on Jay. It's good you two got together. It's weird not hearing much about him.

My knee is really sore now. Ironically when I tripped so bad last March (just as covid kicked off) had burst bursa but that was much more visible and there was an odd stiffness...this is sore. I may be walking tomorrow. Even right should is sore now. That's why I hate tripping like that. You don't know immediately how things are going to go.

Sorry to hear about Jay's knee. Glad for him having those grandsons.
