I've made a pretty decent version from scratch before. Mostly store cupboard things (depending what's in you cupboard of course!) - something like this ( though with less yeast, 50g is a lot!)

Made it the other day as yog reminded me. I might whack some more spice in otherwise it's pretty good. Not as good as speed-eating the real deal after a short hill race though!
