How are conditions? Gunstock website report is ambiguous.

They have a loop of about 1.5 km that's in very good shape - manmade snow with the dusting of powder on top. The rest, while 'open' is variable base with stuff sticking through here and there - depending on shade, dense cover overhead that stopped snow from reach the ground in the last snowfall, etc.
Good fat-biking though.

Wait a day, conditions will be fantastic everywhere in the area.

Hate the hemlocks overhead -- capture the snowfall and then drip water down onto the trail along with pine cones and branches.

Sleet in heavy winds usually finds its way through - We are supposed to get both, tonight and tomorrow. I keep my fingers crossed for minimal wetness.

Conditions should now be a lot better -
