I had not clue you had enough snow up there - it was barely covering the sidewalk here

I hadn't even considered skiing, until i drove by and saw a surprising amount of snow cover, it was really so odd randy, it was this thin icy crust, some spots you'd see the grass, but would sail right along, over it. other areas there was a couple inches of fluff over that ice base, and that too, i could fly through that, lots of winding my path around the completely melted areas, but it was surprisingly good, and i kept doing my same loops to pack it down. striding/classic would be nearly impossible. now with the rain then freeze i think my tracks/paths will be frozen hard and rutted and would be awful. I think an option is to seek out other parts that i didn't skate on and cut new tracks, we got a couple inches of snow here during the day. Seneca is the highest point in cuyahoga county, not sure if that helps a bit or not. Are you set up to skate? I may head over there saturday see if its skateable.

That's ridiculous! ! Duluth sooooo that video was probably done in june! You'd think there'd be melted patches or rocks exposed, although they'd just fly over most likely

Skiing at seneca today was incredible, plus I waxed skis, some fairways were so crazy fast, so much fun, you'll have to come to the dark side some day! I can give u a pair of skating skis if you'd ever consider it.
