How did they do that! You could understand it happening with someone in the lower places, but how can you get the 1st finisher wrong

They were just having a chat, didn’t have the results phone set up yet. All good though, I might’ve been a bit saltier if I was actually trying to put down a good time

From the Parkville parkrun website: "The course is 5000m (5K) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel."

That is a stitch up considering the winning time there is usually in the 15/16 range, they should have known someone was due soon. It's not like the timekeeper has much else to do except press the lap button every time someone crosses the line!
