Danny, if you're looking to start a student O club, I've been hanging on to the orienteering-l@cornell.edu email listserve since the last iteration. There was a short-lived club many years ago. They fielded a team for Intercollegiates one year but then most graduated in the same year and nobody was left to keep it going. Anyway I can give you access to the listserve if it would be useful.

Wow, that would be great later down the line! The orienteering presentation, activities, and excursions have thus far been through the Outing Club; they've even bought plate compasses in preparation for the next few semesters. If enough people become interested in just orienteering and not the outdoors in general, that listserv would be a fantastic resource. As of now, the Outing Club listserv can definitely suffice.
