Do you have a Garmin with a HRV (heart rate variability) option on it Bridget? Might be helpful to watch how that trends over time and give you a hint that things are moving in the right direction. Of course every time I decide to use it on mine my strap never connects and I give up, but I think it's one of the more accurate ways to show how your recovery is going without more specialist equipment.

I'm glad you're not totally alone in isolation anymore. Still sending you big virtual hugs x x

Glad to hear you're out. Here's hoping you find recovery comes quickly and smoothly.

And thanks for sharing your experiences. It's tough thing to do out where everyone can comment, but I appreciate the perspective you've shared.

My watch does not have HRV, but it has enough of a tracker that I can still see some trends.

It's definitely nice being out of isolation - I've enjoyed the fresh air on my walks to the dining hall and back.

I'm glad my perspective has been interesting. It's been pretty hard trying to figure out how to handle everything, but I was really set on not messing up my school work all too much - I don't want to retake these courses, and the module is way to short to get far behind, but I also know that rest is important. I think the really interesting stuff is going to be me trying to get back into running, and how that all works out. I'll be tracking everything I can carefully as I do, just so that I can look back on it later. Think it'll be good to see.
