Two runs in a day, you must be getting serious. Has Sara sent round a team email saying she expects that you guys will thrash Aaron and Richie after seeing how they performed in the weekend?
Obviously I have become motivated after C2C and will be rushing to hand over my money to enter next year's event. Rumour has it that they are ditching the kayaking to make it more inclusive/accessible or something like that. My year to make a move.
More serious than you at least - when will you pull finger and enter a race again? I sense you are scared about getting shown up by the young ones (btw 5kms fun runs don't count). ;-)
Was my loss to the young ones at the orienteering when I followed Tane and had a good run and still got beaten by kids? I'm used to being crap now, at least I haven't descended very far.
As for races potentially I'll enter something. Not sure what though, are you offering suggestions? I'm about to pull out of the only race I'm entered in. I looked for a cheap 10km race but they don't exist. Don't think I can do 35min either so Matt will class me as slow.
Correct - you are slow, sadly that is faster than me though
What event are you pulling out of. I'm happy to masquerade as 'Greig Hamilton', particularly if I'm expecting to be rubbish anyway.
My sources have corrected me. C2C are introducing tandem teams to the 1-day so that a certain ex Rugby player can do the 1-day without needing to paddle on his own.
You don't want to and Stephanie wouldn't let you travel to USA for the rogaine and then relax in a hotel for 2 weeks here when you get back.
Sadly neither of you have provided any suggestions for events so I will have to focus on winning the morning runs that I manage to wake up for.
Just give up, sounds easier. Think that's what I'm going to do.
I'm just pumped on the travel bubble that is about to open up so we can go and embarass the australians in south oz then hang around and drink good wine and eat good food. no need to even get fit. cleared the course walking last time.
