Swampfox:
Last year's Long and Short (middle) course US Championships have rolled off and The Blind Tangerine are updated. The grammar are slightly off and nobody knows why. There were no shaking of the Tangerina tree because there were too few ripe fruits racing in those races to make them rankable. On the other hand, the Tangerino tree were very ranked and there were some heavy fruits crashing in Newtonian citrus splashes to the ground, with big hitters such as Andy "don't go back" Dale, Brian May, and Boris "the spider" all losing a 5th ranking race. This have severely shook up the top 10 Tangerinos, and with the smoke now cleared off, the result are somewhat surprising.

There are one final weekend of races for the 2005 ranking season, and they will be here shortly, as in this weekend at the DVOA hosted US Long Champs and "A" event.

According to http://www.attackpoint.org/eventdetail.jsp/event_1... , it looks like Torrance is the only Tangerino planning to climb back up the tree via a 5th run. Although 7 of the current top 10 are apparently planning to show up.

Of the no-show's of the top 10 Tangerinos, Ken's got a reasonable excuse to stay home & help his wife this weekend (although hopefully he'll claw his way back to an O' schedule eventually :) Z-man's injured(?), but may show up anyway(?), although he's missed the offical registration, and what happened to Leif?

Apprently Leif's coming but he's forgotten us here at AttackPoint? Or he's in stealth training mode...
