- it's not a "proper run" if you're pausing! :-\
Turf has changed us all into smartphone staring morons! We need to get back to pure running! Like the old days! :-)
Usually I'd agree, being a luddite technologist ( I know) but anything that gets people out, and to different places, is good, I guess.
Orienteering is a bit like that. You think you know somewhere, then you orienteer there, and you find all sorts of different places
Hopefully only a month of turfing to go before we can get back to real activities
I'm tongue in cheek here, it's great that it gets people out - including me, even! :-)
Also, I'm noticing i feel better for the breaks - during the run, and also recovery is nicer. That's me showing my age.
I'll believe real events when I see them, tho ...........
"Armpitting" is the solution according to compass sport.
The article was interesting but didn't sell turf events to me.
It's just a good gap filler till real o starts back.
Indeed. It would have been a lovely day's racing at Stanton Moor today :(
More bad covid news last night/ today so can't see O events happening for a long time. In fact, i do not see a way out of this ever, now.
Looks like I need to go and get surge tested...
Ah! I'm not - I'm too far south, for this particular "crisis" (one case?) (two cases?)
