Thanks, not skiing. Phoenix Arizona helping with my 93 yr old dad who is in hospice.
Orienteering more right now... which is good.
I did enough skiing and grooming this year so I’m taking a mulligan on the Birkie.

Good decision! Hope your father is doing well. As an old guy myself, I can't imagine anything more comforting in my final days, than my son cancelling all his plans, and staying by my bedside. Too bad you and I don't have sons to do the same for us!

And BTW, you could have 'done the Birkie' by bike. Years ago my Chicago tri buddy and I came out for a week and trained for the USTS Phoenix Triathlon up near Pleasant Lake. Great biking roads; little traffic. Your nephews could have crewed!

I spent a fair amount of time with my dad when he was in hospice 20+ years ago, and very glad I could be with him.
