| ebuckley: | With that huge phallic guitar heading for the heart, I thought we might be in for another wardropbe malfunction! |

| Swampfox: | I was trying hard to avoid that kind of symbolism. Plus, I'm just a simple swampfox, so that kind of thing is going to fly right over my head. Also, the stage didn't exactly feature a whole lot of women, even though they did lead off with "well she was an American girl..."

| jjcote: | Did you catch the commercial that had the guy trapped in a car with sleeping badgers? |

| Swampfox: | I missed nearly all the commercials, and of those I saw, the only ones I can recall were the one with the lizard and the hot dancing girl (for some kind of flavored water), and a caveman GEICO commercial. |

| JanetT: | Super Bowl Ads on MySpace.com :-)
I saw the badgers (and thought of Swampfox), but missed the caveman. And Tom Petty (by choice). I think the badger commercial was for a brand of car that muffles outside noise (but not cellphone ringers), but I'm not sure. |

| bbrooke: | It was an adorably sweet vignette that included a gentle momma-badger nursing some baby badgers. So cute! Until the end when things went downhill...
And, my immediate association with that ad was "SWAMPFOX!". |

| Swampfox: | There is nothing sweet or adorable about the local version of attack badgers to be found up on Laramie maps, and that's for sure.
Last year was a good one, inasmuch as I saw only *one* badger the whole year, and the one I saw was lurking by the Happy Jack Road, probably waiting for a crippled car or semi-rig to ambush. I was lucky to spot it up ahead, and I did the only sensible thing under the circumstance, which was to turn around and go back the way I had come. |

| jjcote: | It's the Toyota Corolla ad from the 2nd quarter. The cannons were outside the car, and thus the noise was muffled. But the cell phone was inside the car, and therefore he was doomed. |
