I also think you should have a time addition for not having the "waiting around for the phone to beep" :-)
aka "the rest period between intervals"...
I think you should be more concerned with your track being around 500m longer than everyone else's!
Concerned? I'm delighted, it clearly means I was running like the wind :-)
There is no obvious GPS daftness, and my routes weren't that bad, so I suspect it has taken the distance from when I started the app, rather than from the start of the course.
