I would have liked to have done both events, but l didn't make it to Bendigo, sadly.

BTW - are we going to be inundated by mice, or water, camping over Easter?

Normally heavy rain ends mice plagues. Looks like good rain for inland NSW in the next few days so we can hope.

Orange has already had 174 for March, and on current forecasts will be in the mid-200s by this time tomorrow - fairly tame compared with the coast (a couple of sites near Port Macquarie hit four figures for the month today), but still unusually wet. Hopefully the access roads will be OK.

That should be enough to drown the baby mice in the burrows. I have camped before in a mouse plague, and ended up sleeping in the car. Even that wasn't foolproof.

I've had them slide doen the tent sides and run over my face.
