daedalus: Is there anyone out there who is driving from Texas to Tucson and stopping at the US team training along the way, and has room to give me (gabe s) a ride? I'm driving down to Texas with mikeminium and am flying back from Tucson, so any help I can get with transportation between the two would be much appreciated.

mal11:

if you don't mind traveling slow with potentially interesting scenery, the Texas Eagle (Amtrak) goes from Dallas to Tucson for $100 or so...

daedalus: Thanks, I've looked into that and there is a train that leaves Austin at 7pm on Monday the 18th and arrives in Tucson very early in the morning on Wednesday the 20th. Can anyone give me a ride to Austin from Bastrop? Also, is anyone willing to share a ride (and expenses) to the Arizona training sites?

ebone: Gabe, I can either transport you myself or find a ride for you. Tom and I would like to do what we can to help as many people as possible participate in the trainings. I'll e-mail you.
